All this unit is used for is to drive the farm check fences and take out a couple square bales to my animals. This unit has been a giant disappointment And now that this is the 3rd time it's broke I have to pay for yet another repair. I will not keep this unit. It is junk and the dealer offers no options for the continuous breakdowns. At KM the engine seized which was caused by a failed crankshaft bearing, I took it back to Rockland Wheels.
Rockland Wheels put a new engine and primary clutch in this machine on November 28th I was informed that the cause of failure was the wrong engine oil being used in the machine. I find this very peculiar as I have the receipts for the oil change and it was done at an Arctic Cat Dealer. I find it difficult to conclude that wrong engine oil was the cause. On December 29thI started the machine. Let it warm up and proceeded to take it for a ride.
Approximately 1 KM from my house it developed a very prominent engine knock. I immediately took it home and shut it off. I took it to Barrie Powersports in Barrie, Ontario, Canada the first week of January, after not hearing anything for a month they called me and said they had found the problem and it was the primary clutch making the noise.
So I told them to go ahead and order another clutch for it. On February 12th they called me and said they had put the new clutch on it and the knocking sound was still there. Have Prowler HDX with only miles. Wet clutch failed by coming apart. New part has a weld at the weak point. Either defective part in original or redesigned after problems. Called corporate Arctic Cat, would not assist.
Said must go through dealer. Provided pictures to dealer and they tried. Denied because not in warranty. Only asked for part to be covered. Very poor customer response. I will not buy another Arctic Cat.
I put a little over hard kilometres on it. Towed with it as well approx lbs. Keeping in mind it is a cc Engine made by a very reputable company named junco, this little guy is a beast. No, it is not glaring acceleration, rather it is quick for it Engine size.
More than fair for this unit. Suspension is not fancy, amazing or anything of the sort but it is smooth, predictable and even through the roughest trails with the hammer completely down, she hangs on quite well.A company's rating is calculated using a mathematical algorithm that evaluates the information in your profile.

I bought my Wildcat new in in Lake Havasu at AZ West and have gone through 3 belts, took it to a different dealer 3rd time and they said the belt AZ West did was not aligned properly, seems to run ok now but after reading forums I'm wondering if the clutch alignment is good I would never buy from them again nor for Actic Cat I have miles and it's in the shop now getting the 5th starter put on. Arctic cat needs to recall this and have a solution. Yeah wow its normal for your suspension to just go out like that.
There is no surprise to half the stuff I'm reading about Ralphs Motor Sports there just out for a fast buck even if you are there one out the cash with nothing to ride. I thought Arctic Cat was good tell today. I will watch this form please update it if they fix your Prowler for you this is very important for the pubic to no about Arctic Cat.
I will not buy one if there warranties are a sham! I have never had a problem with my Honda warranties when it needed repairs they fixed it with no problems.
To add to this ArcticCat Prowler motor problems ect Arcticcat needs to step up and stop there lies and give people the warranty's they pay for. Well thanks for this I'm going to look into something other then ArcticCat for my next toy. The ArcticCat Prowler has way to many bad this being said about them and about ArcticCat's not do there warranty's.
They to ripped me off by saying my Prowler was miss handled and not used right liers! Arctic Cat Reviews and Complaints. Discounts and Special Offers.Forum Rules. Remember Me? Problems or issues? Comfort after a full day ride? How's the power? Looks like a guy will get completely covered in mud with basically no fenders on it? Thanks so much. Premium Advertiser. There is already an aftermarket turbo set up etc. Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words. A persons actions will tell you everything you need to know. Veni, Vidi, Vici. Yea seen the turbo set-up not looking to go that route.
It will be mostly used for work so reliability is a big must. Only problems I've read so far is a clamp coming undone on the oil line so guys are double clamping them.
I personally havent driven one, but from what ive read online and seen in videos they are pretty impressive.
With a turbo they will lay a beating on any new stock machine. Personally, I'm not looking for something that kills a I wanna know how it holds up against a rzr or in terms of practical things like ground clearance, durability, comfort, etc. I'll be keeping an eye on these, be next spring before I trade the quad in though.

The Sport Limited is all new for the Wildcat line and is based off the inch Trail. Aside from the obvious wide stance at 60 inches, the Sport Limited model features Electronic Power Steering, Elka Stage 5 coil-over shocks, and a plus horsepower engine.
It cranks out plus horsepower that pulls very well from bottom to top. It weighs in at pounds dry, which makes its power-to-weight ratio very impressive when compared to the pound, cc Wildcat. The gear shifter is very smooth to operate, even when parking on hills. The clutch system is very responsive as soon as you squeeze the skinny pedal.
We found this machine cruises very nicely around the 45—mph range on windy trails, with a lot more to go in the motor. On more wide-open trails, the top speed of the Wildcat Sport is in the mph range. It manages to fly over rough terrain and still be able to powerslide around high-speed corners. The switch with 4WD and the 4WD diff-lock is a great feature.
It is very capable in standard 4WD through rocks, mud, loose gravel and sand. In 2WD you have more than enough power to break the tires loose in a high-speed corner and still have enough traction at the rear end to climb hills without switching into 4WD.
When descending hills, the engine braking is very strong in both two- and four-wheel drive and high and low range. Along with the added width, it also has just over 2 inches of increased suspension travel, with To help control damping, one Elka Stage 5 coil-over shock is at each corner.
These shocks have low- and high-speed compression adjustments, as well as rebound and preload adjustment. Handling is improved with the help of a rear sway bar.
Front sway bars are not factory installed like on the Trail version, but the chassis has all the mounts to install one. With 13 inches of ground clearance, you can have confidence when traversing over rocky terrain.
From hardpacked, mud, sand and rocky terrain, these tires hooked up just right all the time. For stopping power, you have hydraulic disc brakes on all four corners with dual-piston calipers. We felt this is just enough stopping power to bring you to a halt quickly and smoothly from a high-speed run. The steering is very smooth and requires minimal effort at all speeds. This EPS system also performs as if you had a steering damper installed, reducing steering-wheel feedback during rough impacts.
Paint is an automotive- style paint, and color is matched through to the suspension arms. Full aluminum doors come standard and have a great look and function. Two non-adjustable bucket seats, adjustable tilt steering and an under-hood storage box are all factory-installed additional features. The digital gauge offers speedometer, tachometer, hour meter, odometer, trip meter, gear indicator, fuel gauge, engine temp, air-intake temp, digital clock and volts.
You also have two drink holders that we found to work very well and hold your beverages in place, and a shoebox-sized glove compartment with an elastic mesh keeper is found instead of a door. There is a rear 2-inch receiver with a towing capacity of pounds. Arctic Cat has many options to outfit your Wildcat, including an aluminum roof, Bimini top, bumpers, spare tire mount, windshields, storage containers and graphic kits.
Check out www. Arctic Cat really did their homework on this machine. Everything works the way it should without any flaws, all the way from steering and handling to power delivery and suspension plushness.
The Wildcat Sport Limited handled everything we put in front of it. That fact alone will ensure that we will spend a lot more time this year enjoying the Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport.Outstanding Safety Bulletins can be performed by any authorized Arctic Cat dealer at no charge to the customer.
